The Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology has many years of continuous cooperation with several departments of ethnology and anthropology in the region and beyond in Europe. For many years, on the basis of several bilateral projects, we cooperate with the Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology at the Faculty of Philosophy in Ljubljana, than with the Department of Ethnology and Anthropology in Belgrade and in Zagreb, as well as with the Department of Ethnology and Anthropology at the Warsaw University in Poland. A few years ago we had a successful cooperation at a summer school with Vancouver Iceland University attended by a dozen students from Canada in Macedonia.
Within the framework of several university mobility programs, CEEPUS, BASILEUS, JoinEU-SEE, our Institute has excellent cooperation with several departments that are part of these programs, offering to the students academic exchange. Also, our Institute is quite attractive for students from abroad, so that almost every semester we have 2-3 students staying here, realizing their mobility, studying together with our students. The same applies regarding the mobility of the teaching staff, which ensures the flow of people and ideas, and this, of course, improves the quality of the studies.
